I truly enjoyed this series, but the ending sucked. So, Army of Darkness Forever ran for thirteen issues and Tony Fleecs gave the fans no closure. Dynamite Comics has mastered the art of stringing its readers along. I guess we wait for the follow-up series, which I’m sure will be laden with alternate covers and dealer perks.
If you’re a fan of the Evil Dead, you should enjoy this series. As a whole, I give it four out of five stars. Issue #13, on the other hand, only gets three stars. It was a letdown in my honest opinion. Ash deserves better.
