Epic Pictures Group’s horror label DREAD is pleased to announce that an extended feature version of Die’ced wrapped filming last month and will be released in early 2025. Written and directed by Jeremy Rudd (Burning Sands, The Fetus), Die’ced is the full-length feature film expanded from the successful short film of the same title and follows the same game plan as Epic’s and Dread’s enormously successful The Jester franchise. The current plan is for Epic and Dread to put an entirely new Die’ced film into production with a 2026 planned release.
The official synopsis for the film reads:
“A teenage girl determined to discover what happened to her missing mom finds herself face to face with a deranged serial killer who was mistakenly released from an insane asylum on Halloween night.”
Writer/Director Jeremy Rudd said,
“When I first self-distributed Die’ced as a short indie project, we never imagined the overwhelming response it would receive. The film’s unsettling story and gory visuals resonated with horror fans worldwide, creating an incredible online buzz. That support was what ultimately caught the attention of Epic Pictures Group, a leader in horror filmmaking. Now, thanks to that passionate audience, Die’ced is getting a major upgrade. The film stars Eden Campbell (Stranger Things), Jason Brooks (Friday the 13th: Vengeance), and Nigel Vonas (Arrow, Supernatural).
