“Helen of Wyndhorn”
Helen Cole has recovered from the wounds sustained battling enemies in the other world, but her return to the fantasy realm her father made famous in his pulp fiction comics has been banned by Barnabas. Even the armory once trusted to her inside the Wyndhorn house has been locked. Why had her grandfather forbidden any more exploration of the place she felt so strong and confident? Did Barnabas hate her?
As Helen falls quickly into an unrecoverable depression, the mighty Barnabas spends more time away from Wyndhorn and the servants who care deeply for him. Even Governess Appleton has become more vocal about his choice to distance himself from his granddaughter. Did Barnabas ever truly care for Helen, or was he just a coward? Over the next few months, the truth would unfold.

Helen of Wyndhorn is hands down my favorite Comic book series of 2024. There is only one more issue to go and I can’t wait to see how the post World War I adventures tie into the current era with the boy and his comic book collection. I give issue #5 five out of five stars.
