Dua Lipa played a fan-made hit during her Zomato Feeding India gig last night.
The ‘Radical Optimism’ pop star performed at Mumbai’s MMRDA Grounds in Bandra Kurla Complex last night (November 30) as part of her current Asia tour, and surprised the audience by launching into a formerly viral mashup of her 2020 track ‘Levitating’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s Bollywood classic ‘Woh Ladki Jo’, taken from the 1999 film Baadshah.
Fans have been quick to praise Lipa for bringing popular memes of the track to life, with one writing that her “PR team needs a raise” and another saying: “She learned the lay of the land. Iconic.”
DJ Ruchir, who originally made the track in 2022, had taken to Instagram before the show to speculate that she might perform the song and later wrote that her “performing on my mashup is the greatest achievement of my life.”
Check out fan-shot footage of the moment below.

The now-viral moment follows an incident at a recent show in Kuala Lumpur that saw a fan claim that he needed seven stitches after being hit by a metal pyro tube. Speaking to World Of Buzz, the gig-goer said he had purchased tickets to get as close to the stage as possible. He told the outlet that he was standing near a pyrotechnic cannon that was shooting confetti into the air.
A statement given to NME by a Live Nation spokesperson read: “We’ve asked for detailed information from the vendor involved on how this occurred, and of course wish both fans involved a speedy recovery.”
Elsewhere, last month Lipa was forced to cancel a concert in Indonesia “due to safety issues with the staging” at the venue.
In other news, the singer recently played a one-off orchestral show at the historic Royal Albert Hall in London – where she was joined by surprise guest Elton John. The gig was filmed for a forthcoming ITV special, which is due to air on Sunday December 8.
It was also recorded for a live album, titled ‘Live From Royal Albert Hall’. The 20-track record is set to arrive next Friday (December 6).
The London date marked Lipa’s first UK show since her acclaimed Glastonbury 2024 headline slot in June, and came ahead of her huge 2025 UK and Ireland stadium tour next summer. Visit here for tickets and more information.
