The self-exorcism themed thriller “The Beast Inside” is set to be unleashed via UNCORK’D Entertainment on demand this December 3, 2024 on Amazon, Direct TV, Dish, Roku, X-Box, Google, iTunes, and other platforms. The unique and foreshadowing soundtrack to the movie, written and performed by multi-award winning film score composer Randy Edelman will also be unchained December 3, 2024 via Tribeca Records. The Beast Inside has been acclaimed as one of the most beautiful soundtracks ever written.
The film directed by Jim Towns and written by Towns & Sadie Katz and produced by See You Next Tuesday Films stars Sadie Katz (Wrong Turn 6), Vernon Wells (Mad Max) and Laurene Landon (Airport II). It follows the saga of Anne as she battles both the demon and the dark legacy that threatens the life of her son as well as the disbelief surrounding her. The film poignantly explores the terrifying reality that women like Anne are often dismissed, or disbelieved in moments of crisis, amplifying the horror of a fight for survival.
The Beast Inside soundtrack employs the creativity it takes to push open the heavy, groaning doorway to life itself. The score carefully takes us on an enforced visit to a dark, sinister and ominous realm. Randy keeps us waiting for the flame of heaven to rise…and release a single spark of divinity….however, the dark ambience, the drones and discordant overtones forever evolve with dissonant harmonies and bold sounds that vibrate with raw power…. But the darkness is beautiful, how else could he shine? There is a sweetness to it, and some of the most breathtaking music ever written… The landscape shifts between sunshine and shade…It takes courage and strength to be empathetic when writing music for a horror flick, but he accomplishes that. He finds the angels in the quietest corners, caught unaware, and filling your heart in ways you can’t imagine….Beneath the euphoric tones and Gregorian Chants Randy also includes his hit pop song “Pretty Girls” within the confines of the movie.
