Todd McFarlane Productions has once again broken records with the Medieval Spawn Kickstarter Campaign. In just five hours, the campaign became the fastest toys campaign to reach $1 million on Kickstarter. It now stands as the second most funded campaign in Kickstarter’s Toy category, just behind McFarlane’s previous campaign for the Original Spawn Action Figure and Comic which raised an impressive $3.4 million just four years ago.

The campaign was fully funded in just two minutes, surpassing the previous campaign’s record of eight minutes. With $680,000 raised in the first hour and all 700 Premium 3-Packs selling out within 45 minutes, the campaign has already started unlocking free bonus accessories for every backer—and McFarlane plans on giving even more away as the campaign continues!

After just 48 hours, the Medieval Spawn Kickstarter campaign has already attracted MORE than 7,000 backers to raise over $1.4 million. With 28 days remaining, fans still have time to back this record setting campaign, which will close on Thursday, September 19th, 2024, at 7am PST/10am EST.

A key factor in the campaign’s success is McFarlane’s commitment to fast turnaround times, with the goal of breaking the record for the fastest shipping on some of the action figures in Kickstarter’s toy category. Production on many of the figures is already underway, an unusual sight on Kickstarter, where most campaigns experience much longer fulfillment periods. McFarlane Productions aims to have most shipments heading out by the holiday season, with some orders shipping directly from Hong Kong within months of the campaign’s end.

Todd McFarlane, the creator behind the campaign, is bringing fans a remastered version of the original 1995 Medieval Spawn Action Figure and Comic, offering three distinct color variations—Classic Blue, Bold Black, and Primer Gray. The figures stand 7 inches tall and have over 30 points of articulation, and each comes with a comic featuring new original cover art by McFarlane.

Although the Premium 3-Packs have sold out, fans looking for a McFarlane signature can still back the Autographed Classic Blue Medieval Spawn, available as a standalone item or part of the Standard 3-Pack.

McFarlane expressed his gratitude, “As I get older each year, I am still continually surprised at the kind dedication and support from so many of our fans. The first Kickstarter took us all by surprise, and it appears that this second one is also going to take us for a ride.”

As the campaign continues to break records, backers can anticipate even MORE free bonus accessories as a thank you for their continued support, making it the perfect time for fans to join thousands of backers and secure their piece of collectible history.
