Believe it or not, not only is Pokemon GO still alive, but it is still receiving a lot of support and additional content from Niantic. In fact, the mobile Pokemon game has just recently celebrated its 8th anniversary. Celebrations for it have passed, but that doesn’t mean that Niantic is taking a break. The 2024 Pokemon World Championships are on the way, so they have a special surprise for fans that are still playing the game.

The official Pokemon GO social media accounts have announced that Pokemon GO Twitch Drops are back. From August 16th through 18th, fans will be able to “obtain special Timed Research and earn a selection of in-game goodies” by tuning in to Pokemon GO broadcasts on Twitch. You can see their official announcement for yourself down below.
