Respected US video gaming publication Game Informer has announced today that they have closed for good, which will come to a blow to the talented journalists working there along with fans of the magazine and the insightful Game Informer website and podcast. Kotaku reports that staff were all brought into a meeting on Friday with parent company GameStop’s VP of HR and told that the publication was closing immediately and that they were all laid off.
