My First Horror Film was written and directed by Shihan Van Clief and stars Georgina Navarro (Fade), Chauntice Green (9-1-1: Lone Star), Justyn Franco (The Nexus), Stephan O’SheaJoy Marie Thomas (Ballers), Miles Crawford (Euphoria).

When discussing the feature, Van Clief says,

“As a first-time filmmaker, I wanted My First Horror Film to be a thrilling story that also leaves the audience feeling good. I know this sounds completely out of character for the horror genre, but I think we were successful at this. This project was a total collaborative effort and I’m grateful for the team I had, as well as the incredible cast and distributor. Make sure you stay for the end credits because we have something special waiting there. We can’t wait for you to experience it.”

Epic Pictures and Dread’s VP of US Distribution and Creative Yulissa Morales says, “We are thrilled to bring the Dread audience Shihan Van Clief’s directorial debut. He and his team have put a great film together and we are excited to see what he will do next.”

My First Horror Film will have a special LA screening August 9, 2024, followed by a VOD release on August 13, 2024.
