Previously speaking about his headlining gig in a press statement, Williams shared: “It’s an honour to be back headlining BST Hyde Park alongside an incredible line-up of music talent. The Hyde Park shows are truly special and I can’t wait to come back this summer. See you there!”

Other artists who are still set to perform as part of the 2024 BST Hyde Park shows include Andrea Bocelli (July 5), Shania Twain (July 7), Stevie Nicks (July 12), Kylie Minogue (July 13) and Stray Kids (July 14).

In other news, Williams recently reflected on his awkward and “rude” encounter with Cher, which left him “headbutting the wall” afterwards.

Elsewhere, the singer previously revealed that he has “written loads of songs” for a new album and is feeling “full of purpose and loving life”.

He made the comments during an interview with Virgin Radio, where he insisted that he is feeling more “ambitious” than ever before, and has written a heap of new material.

The comments shared by the former Take That member arrive after he shed light on his history of self-harm and depression, and encouraged people to be more “careful” about the comments they make towards those in the public eye.

Williams also confirmed that his dance side project Lufthaus – which sees him join forces with Flynn Francis and Tim Metcalfe – would be making their UK live debut at Creamfields 2024.

More recently, he has recalled the occasion when a badly-received joke on X/Twitter made him reconsider his use of the social media platform.
