Lisa of BLACKPINK will be back new music soon, her label has confirmed, following the release of several teasers.

Today (June 14), a week after she announced that her next solo release is “coming soon”, the singer dropped a new TikTok video previewing an upcoming track. The clip features Lisa posing for photos by the beach as an instrumental track titled “teaser” plays over it.

On the same day, Sony Music Korea confirmed that Lisa will be returning with new music soon per Korea JoongAng Daily. Back in April, Lisa’s self-established label LLOUD announced a partnership with RCA Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music, for her future solo releases.

Last week, Lisa updated her official website with a cryptic new “coming soon” teaser including pre-save links on Spotify and Apple Music for her upcoming project. She also released a TikTok video accompanied by an instrumental track also titled “coming soon”.

At the time of publishing, Lisa has yet to announce additional details for the upcoming project. It will be her first release under LLOUD, which she launched earlier this year, and her first solo release in nearly three years.

The BLACKPINK star made her solo debut in September 21 with her two-track single album ‘LALISA’, which included the title track of the same name and ‘Money’. Her last music was a feature on Big Bang singer Taeyang’s ‘Shoong!’ in April 2023.

In other K-pop news, TWICE singer Nayeon has made a comeback with her second mini-album ‘NA’ and its title track ‘ABCD’. At a press conference ahead of the release, she shared that she wanted to showcase her “cool, powerful and bold” self with the new project.
