With Indiana Jones and the Great Circle coming later this year, MachineGames and Bethesda dropped more meat for fans to chew on at the Xbox Games Showcase with a new gameplay trailer. Interspersed with the gameplay are quick glimpses of the cutscenes, culminating in Indy and Gina in the Himalayas.

Set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle sees Indy against sinister forces that are scouring the globe for the secret to an ancient power connected to the Great Circle, with Indy being the one person can stop them. Travel from the halls of Marshall College to the heart of the Vatican, the pyramids of Egypt, the sunken temples of Sukhothai, and beyond. When a break-in in the dead of night ends in a confrontation with a mysterious colossal man (played by Tony Todd), you must set out to discover the world-shattering secret behind the theft of a seemingly unimportant artifact.

Featuring a dynamic mix of linear, narrative-driven gameplay and open-area maps, you’ll be utilizing Indy’s whip not only as a weapon, but also to navigate the environment. Swing over unsuspecting patrols and scale walls as you make your way through the world. You’ll also make use of stealth infiltration, melee combat, and gunplay.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is slated to arrive on the Xbox Series and PC via Steam later this year.
