Reviewer Notes

This is it, the final story arc before the Blood Hunt crossover event begins for Doctor Strange. I have enjoyed every bit of Volume 06 so far, but I will not be diving into the Blood Hunt event if at all possible. I just can’t justify spending more money on the plethora of crossover books when there are so many vintage Doctor Strange issues I haven’t cracked open yet.

With that said, I’ve been reading Blade Volume 05, which starts off the whole Blood Hunt, and Strange is present there after Earth has been corrupted by the demon queen. I’m guessing Doctor Strange will enter the Blood Hunt event weeks before Adana defeats Blade and steals the sword of the Morning Star. This is just my speculation.

As far as the Cobolorum story goes, it was pretty awesome. As a retired gaming nerd myself, I just love the idea that there is a living role-playing world  acting as a villain in the Marvel Universe. I give issue fourteen of Doctor Strange four out of five stars.
