“Salvaged From The Wreck Of Ages”
Pleistocene Age – Bering Land Bridge, the Paleo-Human migration has begun. Entire tribes of early man have been crossing from East Asia over to the west coast of North America for a century now. On this particular day the bright sun warms the air overhead as the latest tribe of wanderers make their way over the glacial landscape.
Fear and doubt were a constant to these people, but when the spherical objective materialize infront of them panic overtook instinct. Had they angered the gods by leaving their ancestral lands? A low humming sound pulsated from the metalic construct as the men and women began to backaway. Several of the children in the group made audiable screams as a section of the object began to open. Like magic the opening producing a ramp like structure from within; its purpose alien to the primitive minds who witnessed the event. What came next was the biggest shock of them all.
A man like nothing they had ever seen desended from the sphere. His coverings, what little he had, was not the leathers and furs of the wanderers. The materials must be otherworldly. Spun by heavenly magic. The man approach the stunned tribesmen and pointed a handheld object in their direction. The purpose of the item they would never have guess, as it was technology created thousands of years into the future. The man then spoke a language unrecognizable to them. “Behold, paleo-humans! Behold the man who ends your future! Behold the greatness of Rama-Tut!”
Did Susan just uncover the bones of a modern European inside a Pleistocene age dig site? Has she found evidence of unstable molecules within the garments of the Paleo-human? Will Johnny Storm get to play out his Time-Cop fantasy before the end of the working day? Collect the series to find out!

Kang has found his way out of the paradox created by the pesky TVA. Or, at least a version of him has. Sweet Fantastic Four Issue #19 from 1963 reference, bro! Damn, this one was kind of a head scratcher. I don’t want to ruin the book for anyone who hasn’t read it yet, but there is time travel, and possible multiversal participants involved. I think anyway.
Ryan North does it again with another unique story only the Fantastic Four could handle. I give this issue four out of five stars. Keep the vintage comic book callbacks coming. I’m loving every minute of it. I just wish the unbeatable Squirrel Girl could have dipped her toe into this issue. She has previous experience fighting off Kang and his special kind of crazy.
