For quite some time NECA has been teasing their upcoming release of the NECA Universal Monsters Bride of Frankenstein Ultimate Monster Deluxe set, which comes with the Bride of Frankenstein Monster & The Chair. They first revealed this earlier this year during Comi-Con and Universal Monsters fans have been waiting a long time for any official news of when and how it’ll be released for quite some time.
There are some new sculpted pieces with the arms and chest overlay with three new heads. I love the gritted teeth head and the smiling head which looks perfect. He comes with brand-new accessories including a tankard, bowl, loaf of bread, and some interchangeable hands including one holding a cigar. He also includes a restraining chair with a diorama base with real chains and shackles.
As a big fan of Bride of Frankenstein, this is a must-have and I am honestly surprised that it’s not too expensive on the NECA Store at $60.00 It’s unclear at this time if it will be a NECA Store Exclusive and is scheduled to be released in June this year.
