Boygenius appeared on this week’s episode of CBS Saturday Morning, where they performed three tracks from their debut album The Record. The trio played “$20,” “Cool About It,” and “Not Strong Enough” at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York for the show’s 500th episode. Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus also sat down for an interview with CBS reporter Anthony Mason to chat about songwriting and their devoted friendship. Take a look below.

The trio have toured heavily throughout 2023, with Dacus and Baker making an extra surprise appearance on stage with Bridgers when the singer-songwriter joined Taylor Swift on a string of Eras Tour dates in May. Boygenius will return to the road in the months to come, headlining Madison Square Garden at the beginning of October and closing out their fall tour at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Halloween.

Along with The Record, Boygenius released a Kristen Stewart-directed visual counterpart titled “The Film” at the end of March. The group have since covered Dan Reeder’s “Stay Down, Man” as part of a SiriusXMU live session.
