Lush’s founding guitarist and sometime vocalist Emma Anderson has announced Pearlies, her debut solo album. The album, produced by James Chapman (aka Maps), is out October 20 via Sonic Cathedral, and you can watch the Kieran Evans–directed video for new single “Bend the Round” below. Suede’s Richard Oakes plays additional guitar on the track.

Lush originally split after their 1996 album Lovelife, whereupon Anderson formed Sing-Sing and released a pair of albums, starting with The Joy of Sing-Sing, before that band’s breakup in 2008. Lush reunited in 2015, releasing an EP before breaking up again. Read Pitchfork’s Sunday Review of Spooky, and read about Split and Lovelife in the rundowns of “The 30 Best Dream Pop Albums” and “The 50 Best Britpop Albums,” respectively.

Pearlies:

01 I Was Miles Away
02 Bend the Round
03 Inter Light
04 Taste the Air
05 Xanthe
06 The Presence
07 Willow and Mallow
08 Tonight Is Mine
09 For a Moment
10 Clusters
