Shawn started working behind the Camera in IATSE back in his early 20’s; with Films of the day and TV programming. He yearned to be in front of it. He had participated in High School Plays/Musicals beforehand. He literally was discovered in an ascending Elevator. First to Model clothing (over many years and to be a Print/Editorial Coach). He had assisted several Men and Women into their careers with Agents. He then segued into the Commercial World with the footwork of visiting Agents. And after Coaching with others briefly, learning to deliver his lines. This is where he was comfortable. Early examples were; portraying a Son or showing Teeth for a Toothpaste brand. He has been fortunate to have had a long string of domestic and foreign Commercials to present day. He has started coaching for commercials with a different aspect and appeal to the Camera and to those Clients.

Approximately 18 years ago, Shawn, made his way over to Voiceovers. He ranged with Business spots to Dad like tonal deliveries. Slightly forward of that were submissions for Legit / Theatrical projects in 2007. He gained Co-Starring and Guest Starring in off Broadway projects as well as Network. A pivotal 30 Rock episode in 2009 had him as Porn Jack. He was also fortunate to have read for several well known Film productions for either debonair or business roles. One of them being the Joker in 2018. He has been in several ID Discovery Network productions. Such as: “The Perfect Murder” as FBI Agent Ron Grasso, or a distraught Father in “Shattered”.

He has trained with several Vocal/Singing Coaches over the years. Music / lyrics has had him singing with bands since Grammar School age. His voice ranges 5 Octaves with perfect pitch-Bari Tenor. He had joined up with steady NYC Theater Row Singers in 2011. Which included East & West side venues. The love of singing Romantic era, Great American Songbook and modern Love ballads earned him- “The Man that could melt a Microphone in 2013”. These days he sings Solo/Duet in upscale Restaurants in northern NJ.
