Beloved PlayStation Executive Shuhei Yoshida to Get Highest BAFTA Honor

PlayStation veteran and Sony Interactive Entertainment indies boss Shuhei Yoshida is set to receive a BAFTA Fellowship at BAFTA Games Awards 2023, it has been announced.

Yoshida has a long list of achievements when it comes to PlayStation but it’s his work with independent creatives that has earned him some much-deserved recognition in the entire games industry. Acknowledging his support and contribution to the industry, BAFTA CEO Jane Millichip said that Yoshida is “hugely deserving” of the fellowship.

“Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredibly talented teams who’ve developed some of the best games in the industry,” Yoshida said in a press release. “I’ve always celebrated alongside these developers as their games have received well-deserved awards – it is an amazing honor for me to receive an accolade of my own.”

Yoshida will be awarded the fellowship on Thursday, March 30th.
