Tom Sizemore, best known in gaming as the voice actor for villain Sonny Forelli in GTA Vice City, has passed away at the age of 61. Also known for his roles in the films Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down, the actor died on Friday, March 3, at his home after suffering from a brain aneurysm as the result of a stroke the month before.

Voice actor for Tommy Vercetti also passed away within a year

As reported by TMZ, Tom Sizemore was rushed to the ER at 2 am on February 18 and was listed in critical condition. Charles Lago, Tom’s manager, stated that his condition had not improved after a week in a coma in the ICU.

Sizemore played the iconic role of Sonny Forelli, a charismatic crime boss who manipulated protagonist Tommy Vercetti throughout GTA Vice City. Sizemore’s vocal performance shined through several famous lines by Forelli, particularly one where he tells Tommy: “That’s my style because I seem to have this problem in my life with unreliable people. Don’t be an unreliable person, Tommy, please.”

Sizemore is survived by his brother Paul Sizemore; his two twin sons, Jagger and Jayden Sizemore; and his partner, Janelle McIntire.

Ray Liotta, the voice actor for Tommy Vercetti, also passed away this year on May 26, 2022. Liotta also died in his sleep, during the production of the film Dangerous Waters in the Dominican Republic.
