Sometime last year Mezco revealed that they would be doing their own versions of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the One:12 line and just yesterday they revealed they’ll be releasing them in a four-pack and that it won’t be a Mezco exclusive.

I knew that they were going to do their own designs for the turtles and some have found them quite divisive. I really appreciate and like that they have given each turtle a slightly different design and how they’ve managed to incorporate soft goods into the turtles themselves with their belts and elbow and knee pads being made of leather material.

The designs are very reminiscent of the Mirage Comics looks what with their body sculpts. I personally really like the head sculpts as they really showcase each turtle’s different personality. As you can imagine from Mezco these figures are incredibly well articulated.

When I first saw the price of this four-pack $400 dollars I was astounded and shocked and then when I took a closer look at the images and saw all the accessories I could see why this set costs a pretty penny. Each turtle has a multitude of interchangeable hands and hands and some soft good accessories as well!

I love all the little added accessories with the wrist computer, night vision goggles, walkman, communicators, slices of pizza, and all the extra ninja weaponry. This four-pack is definitely filled to the brim with accessories.

This set is scheduled to be released in the November/December of this year and is likely to be delayed like most of Mezco’s One:12 licensed figures. I would love to get this set but it’s too rich for my blood and I am more than happy with just collecting the NECA TMNT 1990/Secret of the Ooze figures.
