Earlier this week there was revealed there was another figure in the Indiana Jones Adventure Series line which isn’t part of the main line of figures but will be some sort of exclusive. I say that because it hasn’t been revealed where it’ll be available. It also isn’t part of the main line as there’s no build-an-artifact label on the front.
We only get a front shot of the packaging so we don’t know all the accessories that he comes with. Though on the front you can see Indiana comes with the antidote and the remains of Nurhachi which he gives to Lao Che in exchange for an elusive diamond. I’ve hoped since the line was announced that we would get a Club Obi-Wan Indiana Jones figure as I love the Shanghai segment of the Temple of Doom. The image does look a bit blurry so you can’t see Indy’s face too well but I am sure it’ll look great.
I do think the other accessories he’ll come with are his revolver, some interchangeable hands to punch out some of Lao Che’s goons, and maybe the diamond. This figure does give me hope that we’ll get other versions of Indy from the films and some of the supporting characters like Map Room Indy, Nepal Marion, Nepal Indy, Cairo Indy, Club Obi-Wan Winnie, and Professor Indy.
With Club Obi-Wan Indiana Jones being an exclusive it opens up a space in a Temple of Doom wave for another figure possibly a Thuggee thug or the large Thuggee played by the late Pat Roach. I do hope we see other exclusive figures in the line outside of the waves as I would really love to get all the characters from the films for the Indiana Jones Adventure Series line!
I don’t doubt that we’ll hear more of this figure soon and hopefully, we’ll find out when the other figures from the first wave go up for pre-order soon. Also, I’ve seen the trailer for Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny which looks incredible!
