Halloween Stinks.

After closing out September with a discussion on one of the best horror remakes and a candid chat with Chucky creator Don Mancini, we kicked off spooky season by checking in with an infamous psychopathic bisexual and reevaluating the controversy surrounding that film’s release. Now, just after Halloween Ends (review) divided fans, we’re taking a look back at David Gordon Green‘s similarly polarizing sequel Halloween Kills.

In the film, unstoppable killer Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney) escapes from Laurie Strode’s (Jamie Lee Curtis) trap to continue his ritual bloodbath. Injured and taken to the hospital, Laurie checks out of most of the movie while Tommy Doyle (Anthony Michael Hall), the boy she was babysitting on the night Michael began his reign of terror, takes control of the narrative. As Laurie continues to fight through the pain, Tommy leads an angry mob of vigilantes to rise up against Myers and destroy the evil once and for all.
