Harry Styles and Florence Pugh co-star in the new Olivia Wilde-directed film Don’t Worry Darling, and today (September 23), the pair have released a collaborative song from the movie. “With You All the Time” is credited to Styles and Pugh’s characters Alice and Jack, with the former One Direction member contributing piano lines, but notably not singing.
In an interview last month, Wilde told Variety that Styles had called her while working on the film to ask about the song, getting back to her shortly after with the piano line that became “With You All the Time.” “Five minutes later, he sent me a demo from his piano, and it was what ended up in the film,” she said. “He called me and said, ‘What about this?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s it. That’s it. And that’s really insane that you did that in five minutes.’”
Since releasing his third full-length Harry’s House in May, Styles has closed out a residency at Madison Square Garden and announced more tour dates for a European tour next year. Don’t Worry Darling has been swamped in gossip surrounding its release: Tensions have reportedly run high between Pugh and her director and co-star Olivia Wilde (who’s also reportedly been in a relationship with Styles). Styles is doubling up on his big screen duties with the new romantic drama My Policeman, where he plays a gay officer reckoning with his identity in 1950s England.
