I know that I haven’t covered the Black Series line for a few weeks on here and in the last week or so Hasbro has shown off some Gaming Greats and Andor-themed figures. I should note that the Andor-themed figures don’t seem to be part of the main line as they aren’t part of waves and are store exclusives in the US and you can see that they are mostly re-use of previously released figures.
The Andor figures are Cassian Andor (Aldhani Mission), Imperial Officer (Fenix), Imperial Officer (Dark Times), and Shore Trooper. All of these figures are store exclusive in the US with two going to Walmart and the other two going to Target. They will be up for pre-order on October 6th. I have to say I was a little disappointed with these at first when they were revealed as I thought they would be in a wave and I am rather happy they are not as that frees up space for other newly sculpted figures instead. These are really a must if you are a completionist or want to build a large Imperial-themed collection.
For the Gaming Greats line, there are two reveals one are a Battle Droid and Rocket Trooper. Like all the Gaming Greats these are Gamestop exclusives the Battle Droid is from the Republic Commando game and the Rocket Trooper is from Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. These figures will be released in the spring of next year.
I know that Hascon is at the end of the month so hopefully, we’ll see some new Star Wars Black Series figures from Andor and hopefully a few surprises as well.
