Hasbro has revealed the final reveal from the final episode of Obi-Wan. They revealed a Black Series figure and a Vintage Collection three-pack. The Black Series reveal is NED B who made his first appearance in the third episode and the three-pack is a Mark II Phase Trooper, Teeka, and Ben Kenobi (Tibidon Station)
NED B is a deluxe release and the three-pack is an Amazon exclusive. I am really impressed with how quickly NED B joined the Black Series line and I have to say to he’s the heftiest droid that we have had in the line so far and he does look fantastic. I really love the worn and scuffed look to him and the replacement blue arm which looks very different from the rest of him and gives him a makeshift look. The accessories are the hammer and battle droid blaster that he comes with. The only accessories that I could see them adding would be interchangeable fist hands which are the only things that are missing from the release.
The three-pack looks great and I really like the look of Tibiidon Station Ben Kenobi and Phase II Purge Trooper it’s great that we are getting the figures in the Black Series as well. Teeka looks great as well for a Jawa and you can never have enough Jawa’s in the Vintage Collection or The Black Series. These items will be going up for pre-order today. The Vintage Collection release will be a bit difficult to get hold of as it’s an Amazon collection and the Star Wars Amazon Exclusives are incredibly tricky to get here in the UK and they very rarely get restocked either.
I know that the series is over but I don’t think these will be the last figures we’ll see from the mini-series I can think of at least five variants/characters that they could release in both lines but I am not going to say who they are as I don’t want to give any spoilers away.
