Becca Kufrin is standing up against a sexist comment on her Instagram post after her recent appearance on Bachelor in Paradise. Becca began her Bachelor Nation journey by competing on Arie Luyendyk’s season. Arie initially proposed to Becca but later broke up with her for his runner-up, Lauren Burnham. Becca then led her own season of The Bachelorette, choosing Garret Yrigoyen at the end. Becca and Garret decided to end things after being engaged for over two years. Most recently, Becca appeared on BIP, where she began dating Thomas Jacobs.

Thomas, who was controversial on Katie Thurston’s season for admitting he thought about becoming the next star of The Bachelor, was also disliked by some of the men on the beach. This didn’t deter Becca, however, and the two started dating on the show. Unfortunately, they broke up in the finale because Becca didn’t feel ready for the two of them to leave the beach as a couple. However, they didn’t stay away from each other for long and ended up reconciling. Since Becca and Thomas are back together, they’re now one of the successful couples from BIP season seven.

Becca recently defended herself against a sexist comment from an Instagram follower. She posted a slideshow of photos and videos of her and Thomas at the Blended Festival in San Diego. “Should I start following him on the gram yet or what? Becca captioned the post. “The reason so many dudes don’t fully commit to @bkoof is because she freely gives it up to every guy [crying laughing emoji],” someone commented. Becca didn’t let this slide, though, and responded to the comment, “Lol. How is your relationship going?

This isn’t the first time Becca has had to stand up for herself in her Instagram comments. In another post, someone commented that Thomas has a bunch of “red flags,” (via Us Weekly).  “Red is my favorite color,” Becca hit back at the commenter. Even though Becca and Thomas have seemingly gotten a lot of unwanted comments on their relationship, it doesn’t seem to be holding them back. Becca has been living her life, including her dating life, in the public eye since Arie’s season in 2018, and it seems like she’s pretty equipped to handle it.

The former Bachelorette definitely took a chance by going on Bachelor in Paradise; former leads normally stay away from the spin-off series. But seeing how it worked out for Becca, maybe fans will see more ex-Bachelors and Bachelorettes on the beach. As for Becca and Thomas, it’s nice to see that their relationship is still thriving despite the negative things people have to say online.
