Get you a boss like Shift Up’s Chief Executive Officer, Hyung-Tae Kim. Following Project EVE‘s successful showing at last week’s PlayStation Showcase, which became one of the highlights of the event, Kim decided to celebrate by purchasing a PlayStation 5 console for each of his 260 staff members!

News comes by the way of Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad, who tweeted:

We know what you’re thinking. Just where the heck did Kim find 260 PS5s? Ahmad has an answer for that:

Project EVE is a multiplatform, cross-gen game that’s also in development for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. But when it comes to current-gen, only the PS5 version has been officially announced, so it makes sense for Kim to opt for the latest hardware.

“The Earth, embodied with such graceful graphics that take full advantage of PlayStation 5’s power, will convey unprecedented vibes that stand out from other post-apocalyptic worlds,” Kim said last week. “We’re not ready to announce when Project EVE will release on PS5, but we’ll keep you updated. We are working hard to make something that we hope you love.”
