Sony announced last week they were planning to bring five Final Fantasy games to PlayStation Now over the next few months. The first of those arrives tomorrow, September 7. Final Fantasy VII is one of five games joining the subscription service for September alongside Killing Floor 2, Windbound, Moonlighter, and Pathfinder: Kingmaker – Definitive Edition. In addition to these five titles, Tekken 7 is being added to PlayStation Now in Europe and Japan.

Final Fantasy VII is the PS4 port of the original 1997 version of the game and not the recent Remake. Cloud Strife is a mercenary who joins an eco-terrorist organization called AVALANCHE. The organization aims to stop the megacorporation Shinra Electric Power Company from draining the planet’s life essence to use as energy by destroying their Mako energy reactors. Of course, things are never that simple.

Killing Floor 2 is a first-person shooter that pits players against monstrous bio-creations known as Zeds that are the result of a failed experiment in Europe. After governments collapsed, it’s up to volunteers and mercenaries to protect the rest of the population. The game is still receiving updates and Tripwire Interactive is preparing for Day of the Zed, which will introduce a new map, weapons, weekly Outbreaks, and a variety of quality of life changes. Killing Floor 2 is by Tripwire Interactive, who recently landed in some hot water with the President’s controversial comments on Twitter.

Windbound is a survival game featuring Kara, who must find a way to get out of the Forbidden Islands archipelago after her raft is overturned by a mysterious giant monster. In action-RPG Moonlighter, shopkeeper Will dreams of being a hero and sets out through the ancient set of Gates into different realms in search of adventure. Finally, Pathfinder: Kingmaker – Definitive Edition is a turn-based isometric RPG where players aim to build their own kingdom in the Stolen Lands of Golarion.

All five games will be available from tomorrow, September 7 and they all seem to be permanent additions to the service. On the other hand Tekken 7 will finally be added to PlayStation Now in Europe and Japan having already been available in North America since July 2019. This game will only be available in the service until February 28, 2022.
