Late last night Hasbro officially revealed the Marvel Legends Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings Assortment. Well the MCU figures from the wave anyway. The other two figures are Civil Warrior from one of the Marvel mobile games and Iron Man (A.I.) from the comics.
We had seen the Civil Warrior and the A.I. Iron Man before and they look excellent and we have seen leaks of the MCU figures of people finding them in some stores in the States, but now it’s nice to see official press images from Hasbro which showcase the figures very well. Not only do we see the other figures from the wave but also the Target exclusive figure of Katy.
It should be noted that the Build-a-Figure is a comic book Mr Hyde figure which looks aces!
I don’t know all that much about the character of Shang-Chi and I have been anticipating the film for quite some time and I personally thought the trailer was absolutely excellent. Now that we know some more of what the film will be about and what the characters look like in the film it has made me more excited for the figures.
I have to say I really do love the look of the figures from the film especially Tony Chiu-Wai Leung’s as well as Awkwafina’s Katy which look exactly like the actors who play them. I love the texture work throughout the costumes and I really love the design of Death Dealer. I’m very pleased that the figures come with a fair amount of accessories as well. As you may have noticed the price of the figures in this Marvel Legends wave has gone up as well as the store exclusives. I’m unsure if the prices will increase here in the UK though and I’m not sure if the price increase for all Hasbro’s collector lines or just Marvel Legends.
I should also note that these figures aren’t available to pre-order here in the UK yet but I presume they will be soon. Here’s the official press release from Hasbro:
