I know I don’t write about Hot Toys all that much at all, but I think this figure is too good to pass to write about. The figure is of Ahsoka Tano based on her appearance in the Mandalorian series where she is played by Rosario Dawson. I really do love the Mandalorian Series and I love seeing toy companies produce more toys from the series. And after seeing images of this Hot Toys version of Ahsoka I am really excited to see what a Black Series figure based on her appearance in The Mandalorian down the line.
This figure of Ahsoka looks absolutely incredible and comes with plenty of accessories. Such as her two lightsabers with interchangeable blades like the blades are in motion, interchangeable hands, removable cloak, and a base. It also looks like she has a rolling eyeball feature so you can position the eyes which I have never seen with a Hot Toys release before also her head tail is posable. Not only that there’s a deluxe version that includes all the same accessories as the original releases as well which comes with Grogu which is a figure itself but has limited articulation and comes with interchangeable hands. Not only that the deluxe version also comes with a lantern accessory and a forest floor diorama base.
The Ahsoka Tano figure stands a little over 11″ tall with about 28 points of articulation. Which is standard for most Hot Toys figures. I should add that the likeness to Rosario Dawson looks absolutely fantastic and all the detailing in her soft goods outfit is fantastic. The figure will include multiple interchangeable hands, a pair of Lightsabers with interchangeable blades, a removable cloak, and a display stand with a diorama backdrop. The head sculpt will featured moveable eyes, and a wired, bendable head-tail. Hot Toys is also offering a Deluxe Set, which will also include a Grogu 1/6 Scale Figure with interchangeable hands, a lantern, a tree trunk display base, and an alternate diorama backdrop.
Sideshow Collectibles has opened up pre-orders for both sets. The stand-alone Ahsoka Tano Figure is priced at $285. The Ahsoka and Grogu Set is priced at $315. Here’s the official press release from Sideshow.
