Putting aside the “is it or isn’t it” with regards to Death Stranding getting DLC, it seems that Hideo Kojima is getting ready to work on his next game. As reported by Video Games Chronicle, in an interview with Al Hub,  Kojima Productions’ studio art director Yoji Shinkawa stated that the team will be announcing the project “quite soon”.

Admittedly, that’s not a heck of a lot to go off of. But, as a reminder, Kojima has shown interest in the past with regards to a horror-centric title, with him watching various horror films in preparation, as well as a potential collaboration with Junji Ito.

That’s on top of the rumour that Kojima was teaming up with Manga artist Suehiro Maruo for that Silent Hill revival that still hasn’t been debunked. Whatever the case may be, you can bet Kojima will be playing with fans up until the reveal of just whatever it is that he’s planning.
