EA and Velan Studios have released a new Knockout City gameplay trailer for the team-based multiplayer game.

Knockout City is a competitive third-person team-based take on dodgeball where you can even turn into a ball and have your teammates toss you at opponents.

You will be able to define your style by customizing characters and use different strategies of attack.

There will be five arenas available at launch and include areas such as traffic-clogged main streets and rooftops.

The game offers free-for-all, as well as 3v3 and 4v4 modes.

It also supports cross-play and cross-progression on all platforms.

When the game launches on May 21, a free trial will be available for a limited time across PC on Origin and Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S via backwards compatibility.

During this time, the full game will be playable. All in-game progress from the free trial will carry over should you decide to buy the full game, and if you purchase during the free trial you also receive additional cosmetic rewards.

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. For more information, go here.
