Despite the troubles that Techland continues to have with Dying Light 2‘s development, they’re at least remaining committed to providing the original game more content. In fact, right now they’re celebrating the title’s 6th anniversary with new DLC that adds a new event and more items to the game.

The event, called Zombie Hunt, has you hunting down GRE agents that have turned into zombies. To access this event, you’ll have to find and kill an undead HTU officer known as Hothead Joe. Along with some high-level loot, you’ll be able to claim the “HyperArgument” hammer as a reward.

The first week of the Zombie Hunt event is live until March 3, 19:00 CET across all platforms.

That’s not all the anniversary event has to offer, as the game also has a community goal where you’ll have to help the survivors scattered around Harran. If the community helps enough of them (100 000 survivors, to be exact), then everyone gets a golden katana as a reward. Remember, this all has to be done before March 3rd, so get cracking.

More celebration goodies are expected the week after.

Dying Light is available on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.com, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Dying Light 2 is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
