It’s Alive!
You may remember a few short weeks ago NECA dropped a teaser on their social media accounts of a Universal Monsters Frankenstein’s Monster figure and now NECA has offically revealed the figure and it’s up for pre-order now from all good e-retailers.
Of course, this figure is based on Boris Karloff’s iconic portrayal of the sympathetic monster. The likeness to Karloff is absolutely excellent on this figure. They’ve really captured his facial expressions perfectly. Like I expected this will be an Ultimate figure as the monster comes with three interchangeable heads, six interchangeable hands, shackles, and some daises. Like in the film the figure will be in black and white which is absolutely perfect for this release.
It should also be noted that NECA has said that they have plenty of plans for the Universal Monsters license and if you look at NECA’s Twitter account at the time of writing you can see that their profile image is a teaser of Boris Karloff’s Mummy… I am really excited for the future of this line and I would love to see a Dracula and a Bride of Frankenstein Bride figure.
This figure will be released in June/July and will cost around $30.00 and is a must-have if your a Universal Monsters fan like myself.
