Earlier today Hasbro had a Fan First Friday panel for the Star Wars products. It’s also the 50th Anniversary of Lucasfilm so Hasbro featured a number of different films in the Star Wars Series.
I initially thought that the Lucasfilm’s 50th anniversary would cover other films by Lucasfilm’s such as the Indiana Jones films but alas no. Hopefully we’ll get something for Indiana Jones as it’s Raider’s 40th anniversary this year.
Hasbro has revealed a number of Star Wars products both in the Vintage Collection and Black Series lines. Some of the figures such as the Vintage Collection are Walmart Exclusives and the Phantom Menace Black Series carded figures are at a slightly higher price point and are Best Buy Exclusives in the States.
They also revealed some other figures in the Vintage Collection and Black Series lines. Though they didn’t show them such as Koska Reeves and Ora Sing and General Calrissian being part of the Black Series line in the near future which is very exciting news.
I’m really happy that they are re-releasing the Qui-Gon Jinn as I missed out on the original figure and this one does look far better with the face printing tech. Also, the Clone Wars Vintage Collection Darth Maul and Ashoka Tano look absolutely excellent.
