Last night Hasbro had their final Marvel Legends panel for 2020 and we got some updates about some of the products that they have teased and revealed in the last number of months and a few welcome surprises too. We now have our first full look at the X-Men Powers of X-Wave along with our first look at the deluxe MODOK release and the Fallen version of The Silver Surfer which will be a Walgreens exclusive in the States along with the Classic Nova figure which will be released sometime next year. We’re also getting another move Deadpool figure though this time based on how his character appeared at the end of the second film when he is covered in soot.
They also dropped some teasers for an unknown figure with a tail, an updated figure of Cannonball which will include a pair of interchangeable legs, and a Classic Ultron.
Overall I am very impressed with the reveals from the Fan First Friday reveals. I particularly really like the Powers of X Wave. The Wolverine figure looks great and I love the short stubby claws that he has and the bearded head sculpt looks fantastic. I really like the Moira Taggart figure as well especially the interchangeable pieces for her. This figure is already incredibly popular as on Star Action Figures they have sold out on the initial pre-order of her. Also, the Marvel Girl and Magneto figure look great as well as does Omega I really like interchangeable pieces that she comes with.
I really like that Silver Surfer is available to an international audience as I missed out on the original one. Even though this one isn’t exactly the same as that one I still want this one as I don’t have a Silver Surfer in my collection whatsovever and this one fits the bill even though he’s a bit darker than your traditional Silver Surfer. I really like that we’re getting a Classic Ultron as Hasbro have been doing a fantastic job with their Iron Man figures lately and I reckcon Ultron would be just as good as all the other Iron Man figures that they have released lately.
The Best reveal for me is the MODOK deluxe figure. Even though he’s a bit more pricier than what I would like him to be he’s a phenomenal looking figure. The detailing on him looks insane and I love the interchangeable face plate which is just awesome!
It’s great that they are releasing another movie Deadpool figure and this one isn’t all that different from the one that came in a two-pack. He just looks a bit dirtier and he doesn’t come with the Unicorn. This one will be an Amazon exclusive and I do wonder if they have any plans for more movie Deadpool figures in the future.
