Today was the first Mando Monday as Series 2 of the Mandalorian is launching on Disney+ later this week and to celebrate that occasion for the next eight weeks there will be Star Wars and Mandalorian reveals. Today Hasbro has revealed some new Mandalorian products including some Vintage Collection, Retro, and Black Series figures.
Overall I am very impressed with the reveals as there’s a lot of different products for fans to get. Like some of the Hasbro Star Wars products, some of these are store exclusives. Those being the Vintage Collection Din Djarin & Child set is a Walmart exclusive in the States and the Star Wars Black Series Tha Mandalorian & The Child set is a Target exclusive in the States and here in the UK, this is a Smyths exclusive.
As you can imagine fans are having trouble getting these two exclusives already and at the time of the writing the Black Series set isn’t available to pre-order on the site. Though I hope it is put up on the site soon. I have managed to get the Vintage Collection set though which I am very happy about and that should be coming before Christmas.
I really do like the Black Series Mandalorian & Child set. Though I can see that fans have a problem with Din’s head looking a bit too big. The accessories are fantastic and the biggest incentive for me to pick up this set especially the cradle for the child and the beskar pieces. I hope to get my hands on it when it comes out.
Speaking of the Black Series they also revealed a Speeder Bike set which includes the Scout trooper. the speeder bike and the child which you can put in the satchel that comes with the Scout trooper which is a great addition and it helps recreate one of the most famous scenes from the series. This is an Amazon exclusive and it hasn’t popped up on the UK one just yet.
The Vintage Collection Moff Gideon and Armorer look absolutely fantastic and are must-haves for Vintage Collection fans. I am a Vintage collector so I’ll definitely be getting these and keeping them on the card and I am eagerly anticipating a Black Series figure of Moff Gideon as the Vintage Collection version looks incredible and it has gotten me hyped for a Black Series version!
Also, Hasbro’s Haslab Razor’s Edge looks awesome and I am disappointed in myself for not being able to get it because it looks fantastic and I like the exclusive pack in Vintage Collection Mandalorian and Child figures that come with it!
It has been rumored for some time that Hasbro would release a line of Retro Mandalorian figures copying the style of the old Kenner figures. Though unfortunately, they haven’t revealed the art cards for these figures yet. I should add that The Remnant Stormtrooper will come with The Mandalorian monopoly game.
