If you’re a regular to these pages then you will know of our love of Assassin’s Creed. But you’ll also know of our admiration for GUNNAR Optiks glasses too. The upcoming launch of the GUNNAR Optiks Enigma Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Edition is therefore one that we are hugely interested in. And you should be too.

Combining the might of Ubisoft with the number 1 provider of gaming glasses in GUNNAR Optiks, we find a set of gaming glasses that offer players not just protection for their eyes, but huge performance benefits along the way.

The official Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gaming glasses are based on one of GUNNAR’s most popular gaming styles, the complete Enigma. This sees the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Edition set comes with GUNNAR’s glorious Enigma frames including their patented Amber lens – a lens that we adore on our Lightning Bolt 360’s – which enhances player performance and blocks 65% of blue light. You can also then throw in a branded glasses pouch, cleaning cloth and flat fold glasses case.

After recently releasing the newest elite gaming offering, the Lightning Bolt 360, GUNNAR’s Enigma, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Edition further delivers on the promise of offering gamers superior performance and protection against the short and long-term effects of digital eye strain.

“We couldn’t be more excited for the launch of Enigma, Assassin’s Creed® Valhalla Edition from Gunnar,” commented Sarah Buzby, NCSA Consumer Products and Licensing VP. “Gunnar creates superior gaming eyewear, and we’re proud to work closely with them on this launch. We can’t wait for the product to get into fans’ hands.”

In itself, the limited-edition Enigma, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Edition glasses feature a sturdy nylon frame with a stunning custom Assassin’s Creed Valhalla design that has been taken directly from the game’s viking themed universe. Further, players will enjoy anti-glare and smudge-resistant wide format lenses that happily provide optimal viewing, and quality engineering features such as a sturdy rigid lens mount, curved nose rests and multi-barrel hinges.

It is the blue light protection that ensures GUNNAR Optik’s gaming glasses are well worth consideration. The standard patented Amber Lens blocks 65% of blue light (BLPF 65) and 100% of UV light, whilst the glasses are also available to buy as sunglasses which block 90% of blue light and 100% UV, as well as in prescription.

“Ubisoft has been a long-standing powerhouse in the gaming world and we’re proud of this collaborative design, which we feel is a genuine brand extension of the video game experience,” said GUNNAR Optiks, Director of Marketing Gaming and Brand, Georgina Petrie. “We know Assassin’s Creed fans are a passionate group of gamers and that they will be losing themselves for many many hours exploring and virtually ‘living’ in this incredible viking world. Our part to play in their experience is simply to be there to help them play for longer, while protecting their eyes.”

Tempted? You’ll be able to get the Enigma, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Edition from GUNNAR.com starting at $79.99, and Overclockers UK and Caseking.de for an MSRP of £67.99 and €69,90 respectively. It will also be available at the end of October on Amazon Europe. If you wear glasses and are a bit of a gamer, we seriously recommend giving them a go.
