The approaching Season 6 for Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare will add two new Operators next week. Besides that, there’s a lot more to be excited about with the next batch of seasonal content coming to Infinity Ward’s latest. By the end of the season, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War should be out, making this likely to be a formative season for the game.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 might see the introduction of zombies to the battle royale experience within a separate themed mode. According to a recent leak, a list of audio files has been uncovered containing exciting details regarding Zombie Royale. Players will fight in groups to be the last human team standing while living dead infestation zombify those unable to fight back. Fallen soldiers will reportedly turn into zombies themselves and try to take down the remaining humans.

In Season 6, Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare will see the return of a couple of familiar faces represented by Nikolai and Farah, Captain Price’s trusty allies. As far as the in-game lore goes, both veterans will help to uncover Zakhaev’s dangerous plans regarding subway tunnels beneath the Verdansk’s surface, which probably means that players will go on a hunt for access codes once again. The Operators will be a part of Season 6 Battle Pass with Farah being instantly unlocked upon purchase, and Nikolai being the final reward for reaching Tier 100. Those who don’t feel like delving into an exhausting grind to reach the highest reward can invest slightly more into purchasing Battle Pass to grant themselves access to the entirety of 100 Tiers with all the sweet unlockables. Additionally, new characters can be enriched with diverse cosmetics and suits by completing special Operator Missions throughout the upcoming season.

Season 6 launches next Tuesday, September 29th, in both Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare. While there’s a lot more content to be revealed, players are already speculating on possible additions. It is rumored that Season 6 will add a subway system of sorts to the Verdansk map – an assumption that’s been confirmed by underground trains and tunnels appearing in a recent trailer trailer. The original leak was based on numerous screenshots pulled out from official videos and promotional shorts, and now the speculation has been solidified. The subway system will include several stations scattered around the central part of Verdansk adding a new means of transportation to the game.

While Infinity Ward is dedicated to expanding Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare multiplayer lore, players that are less excited about the subtle narrative will definitely welcome the opportunity to unlock a couple of new characters. A wide range of character customization options is key to just about any evolving multiplayer game’s success, and Warzone is no exception. Considering the pack of personalization options that comes with new Operators, Warzone players can expect dozens of their opponents running around Verdansk as Nikolais and Farahs.
