The team at PQube have had a rather hectic 2020, announcing a host of games over the last few months, many of which Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and PC players should be keeping an eye on. Now though comes another – Fallen Knight.

Due to release on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in Q1 2021, Fallen Knight is a side-scrolling platformer that will have gamers taking in a futuristic knight’s tale; one that just so happens to be totally cool with handling intense sword fighting gameplay, big boss battles and a rich narrative.

Created by FairPlay Studios and pushed out via the PQube publishing arm alongside the likes of their previous announcements of Nexomon: Extinction and New Super Lucky’s Tale, Fallen Knight will see gamers thrust into the life of a descendant of the great Lancelot in King Arthur’s tale. From there, expect to take on the role of Lancelot the 49th in a futuristic setting, facing off against six unique enemy heroes, all of whom comes complete with a dark past of their own. It will be up to you and Lancelot to save the fair city from an evil organization, The Purge, that intends to reveal the ‘truth’ of what is hidden below the city.

This journey promises to not only shine light onto the secrets hidden in the dark but also challenge what it truly means to be a knight.

Features of Fallen Knight will include:

  • Dynamic platforming with a fun multi-dash mechanic
  • Multiple game endings based on your gameplay style
  • Explore and take on challenging levels
  • An unforgiving challenge, with punishing boss battles

We’ll be sure to keep you updated as to the development progress of Fallen Knight in the weeks and months ahead. Check out that trailer below for a better insight into how things will work. And let us know in the comments if you’ll be picking this up.
