He’s Back!
Last night NECA revealed some new products from their various horror licences and a return of an unexpected licence …..
Here’s what they revealed:
- Packaging for 7″ Creepshow TV Series Creep figure
- Ghostface and The Creep joins the Toony Terrors line
- Official Photos released of the Ultimate Ghostface figure
- An updated look at the lifesize Bride of Chucky Chucky and Tiffany dolls
- Target Exclusive Back to School Gremlin revealed

- Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood Ultimate Jason Voorhees
I really dig the packaging for the Creepshow figure looks fantastic and it’s great that he’s joining the Toony Terrors along with Ghostface and they are great additions to the line.
At Toy Fair earlier this year NECA showed that they’ll be doing an Ultimate Ghostface and now they’ve given us an updated look at it by uploading a gallery of the figure and Ghostface looks incredible. I don’t have a problem with the soft goods at all and I love the scythe!
I’ve been really impressed by the lifesize dolls of Chucky and Tiffany since they showed them off even though they are unaffordable for me. They have given us a closer look at their clothing and sculpts and their articulation.
After the SDCC Summer Gremlin exclusive, NECA has revealed the Back to School Gremlin which is based on some promo art for the film and comes with a lot of accessories and it’s a Target Exclusive. It’s a really fun looking figure and yes the Gizmo lunchbox does open!
Speaking of Gremlins, NECA revealed that they currently have three gremlins from Gremlins 2 in development. I love Gremlins 2 and I cannot wait to see what Gremlins they release.
Then finally, to the biggest surprise of all. NECA revealed that they’ve made a Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood Ultimate Jason Voorhees figure! I didn’t see this coming as I knew about the Friday the 13th legal rights issues and it seems that it’s partially been resolved so that more and new merchandise can be released but still new films cannot be made yet. I am so stoked that NECA can make and release new Jason Voorhees figures and I am glad that Part 7 is getting the Ultimate treatment as it’s my absolute favorite look for Jason! He comes with an interchangeable head and loads of accessories and I cannot wait to add this one to my collection as this figure looks phenomenal!
I should add that most of these releases such as the Creepshow, Toony Terrors, Back to School Gremlin, and Ultimate Ghostface and Jason will be released later this year.
