Persona 5 Scramble - Joker

Ever since Joker joined the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster, there have been calls for Atlus to release the mainline Persona series on the Nintendo Switch. While there’s still no sign of it happening, the spin-off Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers has already made its way across to the hybrid system in Japan.

In its latest financial statement, Atlus has now revealed Persona 5 Scramble was one of three games that exceeded sales expectations in the most recent fiscal year. Unfortunately, it didn’t reveal individual system sales or the combined amount.

If this is the case, perhaps it will encourage Atlus to release The Phantom Strikers locally on the Nintendo Switch. Keep in mind, there’s been no official announcement for the west just yet, and the last update (back in April) was that localisation was ‘still being planned’.

Hopefully, the positive sales reception to Phantom Strikers in Japan might lead to even more Persona games on the Switch. Would you show your support for Persona 5 Scramble if it was released locally on the Nintendo Switch? Tell us below.
