Boston indie group Krill have announced their new band Knot. The group consists of all three Krill members—Jonah Furman, Aaron Ratoff, and Ian Becker—with the addition of Joe DeManuelle-Hall. Knot have also announced their upcoming self-titled debut album, which arrives August 28 via Exploding in Sound. Knot have pledged that the first $1,000 in digital Bandcamp sales proceeds will go to Survived and Punished.

Krill’s last studio album was 2015’s A Distant Fist Unclenching. The band ended that year, too.
