Marvel Comics is shutting down the Marvel Digital Comics Shop at comicstore.marvel.com on June 2, 2020, the publisher announced in a newsletter to users.
After June 2, readers will still be able to purchase Marvel digital comics and continue to read their existing Marvel digital comics library directly via the Marvel Comics app and the comiXology store.
Marvel offered these instructions for fans to read existing Marvel digital comics libraries after June 2:
“View your past purchases in ‘My Books’ when you log into your account on the Marvel Comics app, and/or
“Sync your current Marvel Digital Comics Shop account with a comiXology account to continue to read your books on a web browser.”
Marvel also noted readers can continue to redeem digital comic codes at Marvel.com/redeem and view redeemed comics in the Marvel Comics app.
