Writer Kelly Sue DeConnick, who brought Carol Danvers to prominence as Captain Marvel, is auctioning off a signed commemorative flight jacket from the filming of Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel film.

DeConnick, who wrote the stories that influenced a large part of Captain Marvel‘s plot, was present for production of the film, and even had a brief cameo, hence the jacket which was given to members of the cast and crew.

Fans who want to win the jacket can bid through DeConnick’s Twitter auction, which is part of a larger initiative of auctions organized around the hashtag #CreatorsForComics, with all procedes going to the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC).
