MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ Wants to Play a Superhero – Especially DC’s CATWOMAN

Michelle Rodriguez would love to play a superhero – and she particularly wants to play DC’s Catwoman. In an interview promoting the upcoming F9: The Fast Saga with MTV International, the actor made her public pitch.

“I would love to be a superhero. I think DC has my favorite superhero, which is Catwoman. I like her because she’s bad and good and I’m in the middle when it comes to being good. I’m pretty bad good, [laughs], you know what I mean?” Rodriguez said. “So I would go the DC route ’cause there aren’t a lot of really great female superheroes in general and so I would need a little edge or I can’t “lay and so Catwoman I think is my favorite.”

While some will be quick to point out that Zoë Kravitz has already been cast as Catwoman for the upcoming The Batman film, the popularity of multiple takes on characters such as with The Joker opens the door to Rodriguez possibly fulfilling her superhero desire.
